With Austin Fashion Week steadily sauntering in our direction, what better than a swanky 1950s-themed dance party to ring in 2012's fresh season of style?  As local designers try their hand at staking their voguish claims, Eric Renteria (owner and founder of Etiquette Vintage Design) has been making waves well beyond his Texas roots, with work being sported by television star Donald Glover, Ashley Greene of the Twilight film series, and the NYC Cabaret/comedy troupe Fein and Dandee, to name a few.  Eric is also currently in the running for a contestant position on Bravo's Project Runway, and was recently chosen to create pieces for the founders of JoLi Academy, a global soccer initiative. 

On June 2nd, Renteria will be presenting 'Rebels With A Cause', a sock hop/fashion show geared towards revamping a time period he's grown to love.  The event will be held at the Swan Dive.  Tickets are $5.  Expect your favorite Golden Oldies, poodle skirts, pompadours, and good old-fashioned fun!
